Wedding receptions can have a unique problem – lots of guests who do not have things in common with each other. Watching a magic show together, having laughed and wondered at the same things helps unify the group and provides everyone with a common experience to discuss.
It can also be challenging to find entertainment that is appropriate for, and appeals to, a wide range of people. Ben is a perfect choice for providing clean, interactive fun.
Strolling magic is Ben’s first suggestion for receptions. Although a stage show is offered, a stage show entertainer can seem like a ‘third wheel’ if your group isn’t properly prepared to be good audience.
A strolling magician circulates around and approaches people at tables or standing in small groups. He performs a short, intimate show that is repeated for each new group. He creates buzz and gives people things to discuss, and all without needing everyone’s attention at the same time.
On average, strolling magicians perform for about 50 people per hour. For larger groups, allow Ben to arrange for himself and a troupe of other professional magicians to make a big impact on your event.
Strolling magic is NOT appropriate during a dinner. The need for audience involvement is too interruptive of the meal.
This comedy-magic act uses both original and classic magic routines along with clean, intelligent humor. Ben creates hilarious and memorable situations with audience members who help make each performance unique and special.

‘The Trunk Trick’ finale is a favorite. The Trunk Trick is a very funny, high energy, finale that involves Ben's wife, a steamer trunk, the Lone Ranger theme, and a comedy of errors!
‘Cutting A Spectator In Half’ is a fun series of surprises. An suspecting volunteer is prepped to become a new magic assistant for the show and then finds out she is to be cut in half. Laughter becomes amazement when we actually pull this off. You will not believe your eyes!

Ben also offers a child focused show that uses only children volunteers and his high energy fun to have the kids ‘rolling in the aisles’. This show requires that 75% of the audience be children only.

If you have a large group of children attending, you may want to consider having a separate room and a private show for them to allow the adults to have some social time.
